Google’s Pixel 3 devices are coming early next month, so obviously the leaks have been intensifying in the last few weeks. Recently, well-known leakster, Evan Blass posted a photo of the two upcoming flagships on his Twitter page.
The pic doesn’t really reveal anything new. It shows the phones’ front which just confirms what we already knew. The Pixel 3 will retain the classic look, while the Pixel 3 XL will come with a consistent notch.

But on top of that, over the weekend, we also got a glimpse of the Pixel 3 XL’s new user interface for the camera and Google Assistant apps via a few leaked screenshots.
These images were obtained by Indian teenager Ishan Agarwal, who also recently showed off some photos of the Pixel 3 XL complete with a notched front and white back.
Anyway, going back the more recent screenshots, they reveal a revamped Google Assistant UI. The virtual assistant’s logo and the “Hi, how can I help you?” bubble have been moved a bit higher. And the Google Lens icon now sits on the left, while the QWERTY shortcuts reside on the right of the microphone icon.
Google has also overhauled the camera UI to provide quicker access to some features including portrait mode, video mode and panorama mode. Notice that these settings are now listed right above the shutter button.
The new Pixel 3 models are expected to continue using a single camera sensor on the back. This year, it will be a 12.2MP one with f/1.8. However, Google will put two cameras on the front. No matter though, we still they will be among the best smartphones at launch.
